Brewing Process

Learn about the meticulous process of brewing sake at Yasuke Sake. From selecting the finest ingredients to canning the final product, every step is done with care and precision to ensure the highest quality sake for our customers.

Receiving Supplies

The first step in the sake brewing process is to carefully receive and inspect all the necessary supplies. This includes premium rice, water, yeast, and koji mold. Each ingredient is sourced in California and Japan to ensure freshness and quality.

Processing the Rice

Next, the rice undergoes a meticulous washing and soaking process to prepare it for steaming. The steamed rice is then mixed with koji mold to start the fermentation process. This crucial step sets the foundation for the unique flavor profile of our sake.

Fermentation and Canning

After the fermentation process is complete, the liquid is carefully racked to separate the sake from the sediment. The sake is then filtered and canned for distribution. Our 100% product usage policy ensures that no part of the sake goes to waste, with leftover rice being sent to Afro's Pizza for production of there Gluten-Free Dough.
